Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 10, 2026

AxioTab is operated by Axiosware LLC (“we”, “us”). This policy describes what we collect and how we use it when you visit axiotab.com, order from a restaurant powered by AxioTab, or run your restaurant on our platform.

What we collect

Diners: when you place an order we collect your name and, optionally, your email and phone number so the restaurant can fulfill your order and send you receipts and status updates. Payment card details go directly to Stripe; we never see or store card numbers.

Restaurants: we collect account details (name, email), business information you provide during onboarding, and billing details handled by Stripe. Order and menu data belongs to your restaurant.

Everyone: standard technical logs (IP address, browser type) used for security, rate limiting, and debugging.

How we use it

To operate the service: processing orders, sending transactional email (receipts, order-ready notices, verification codes), loyalty programs the restaurant configures, fraud prevention, and support. We do not sell personal information. Diner data is shared only with the restaurant you ordered from and the processors that run the service (Stripe for payments, Resend for email, our hosting and database providers).

AxioTab diner apps

Each restaurant on AxioTab can offer its own branded iPhone and Android app. The apps are built by Axiosware LLC on one shared platform, and everything below applies to all of them.

Ordering as a guest: you can browse the menu, order and pay without an account. We collect the name you give at checkout and, optionally, your email and phone number, so the restaurant can prepare your order and send you a receipt.

An optional account: if you want order history and loyalty points, you can create an account with a one-time code sent to your email address, or by signing in with Google. Sign-in is handled by Clerk, which verifies your identity and stores your email address and, where you chose Google, the name and email Google returns. We store your name, email, phone number, an optional birthday used only for a birthday reward, your order history and your points balance. Ordering never requires an account.

Notifications: if you allow them, the app registers a Firebase Cloud Messaging token so the restaurant can tell you when your order is ready and can confirm a booking. Marketing messages are separate and off unless you opt in, and every one of them carries a way to stop them.

Reporting a problem: if something is wrong with an order you can attach a photo. It goes to the restaurant with your report and is used for nothing else.

Payment: checkout opens Stripe. Card details go directly to Stripe and never reach the app or our servers.

Diagnostics: when enabled, the app sends crash reports (via Sentry) with technical details. Reports are keyed to a one-way scrambled form of your email address that we cannot reverse back to you, and they never carry your email address, name or phone number. The apps do not collect device location and do not use advertising identifiers.

AxioTab POS tablet app

The AxioTab POS app runs on a restaurant’s own counter or kitchen tablet and has no personal user accounts. A tablet is paired to a restaurant with a one-time code that grants a device token kept in the device’s encrypted storage; restaurant staff use the tablet to take and fulfill orders.

Order data on the tablet: the app shows staff the order details a diner provided (name and, if given, phone number and order notes) so the order can be prepared and handed off. That data belongs to the restaurant. The app keeps no on-device cache of order data, so a reassigned or resold tablet carries no prior customer information.

Notifications: when enabled, the tablet registers a Firebase Cloud Messaging token so the kitchen is alerted to new orders. Diagnostics: when enabled, the app sends crash and error reports (via Sentry) with technical details and non-personal event context to help us fix problems; these reports exclude customer names, phone numbers, and order notes. The app does not collect device location or use advertising identifiers.

Deleting your account

You can delete your diner account at any time from inside the app, under Account, or from axiotab.com/delete-account. Deleting removes your name, email address, phone number, birthday, points balance and saved notification devices, and it cannot be undone.

Past orders are kept, because a restaurant is required to hold its own sales, tax and refund records. They are unlinked from you first: your name, email address and phone number are removed from them, so what remains is the transaction and not the person.

Retention

Other than the records described above, we keep personal information only for as long as it is needed to run the service.
