Taking orders

Print QR codes for dine-in tables

Generate a QR code per table so guests scan, order, and pay from their seat.

3 min read·Last reviewed

Dine-in QR ordering lets guests scan a code at their table, browse your menu, and pay without waiting on a server. Orders land on your tablet tagged with the table.

Steps

  1. 1

    Generate table codes

Create a QR code for each table. Each one carries the table number so orders arrive labeled.

  2. 2

    Print and place them

Print the codes and put one on each table, on a stand or a sticker. Make sure the code is easy to scan.

  3. 3

    Watch orders come in

When a guest orders, it shows on your tablet with the table number so you know exactly where it goes.

Common questions

Do guests need to download anything to scan?
No. The camera app on any modern phone opens your ordering page straight from the QR code. They can add your app to their home screen if they want, but it is optional.
